For whatever reason, this area of the park doesn't show up on Google Maps. It is at the Southwest corner of Curry Rd. and College Ave in Tempe. Here is a map of the park showing the location of the parking lot and North Ramada.

The plan for the Pokemon gijinka photoshoot was early October well before SabotenCon- it's honestly just been moved up a week or two mainly due to all the animefests that are going to be in October (which I just found about). I'm sorry if it's not convenient for everyone but this group project has been in planning for a long time.

(Actually I haven't started my costume either...)

Well maybe this date is good for me since a lot of events are coming up in Oct. Like my sister's wedding a weekend before sabo. ^^;

Do you have the details on all the animefests? I'm waiting for Cira to send them to me

I can't believe it's been a year! I think we'll bring fruit again, and I'll watch the list to see if anything's missing when it's closer to the date.

We're really gonna try to whip together an easy ginjinka since we've wanted to do one for a while!

Animemom - No, I don't know anymore about the animefests than you do - just that there'll be 3 in October. I think October may be busy in general.

Haha, that's my hope too, that my costume is easy enough to get done quickly. xD I changed to Piplup! He's so cute. D: But if not, remember you can wear any costume you have. ^^

I hope i can make it i am going to try i didn't get to go to the last one and i heard it was a blast so i want to go. I am not sure if i will have a pokemon gijinka done but i will definitely try but if not i will be in my chouji

I'm going to try and get my Pokemon cosplay ready for this....but I'm lazy and I doubt I'll have it ready. But I'll try!!!!

i guess it's a good thing that kabutops is my most completed cosplay that i am planning to wear at saboten. i am still missing the piece for my left shin tho, i need to go buy another roll of craft foam. i still have to order my wig too i feel really silly ordering the punky xl, it is ridiculous but so perfect for a pokemon.
