Aftercon - http://www.aftercon.com  AZHP - http://www.arizonahp.org  Cosplay Zone Productions - http://www.cosplayzoneproductionsonline.com  SunaCosu - http://sunacosu.com  What: Canned Food Drive and Potluck Picnic Admission is a minimum of 2 non perishible canned food items per person to be donated to St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance Don't be a "lame-o", bring more than the minimum!  This event is also a potluck picnic so if possible please bring a covered dish or snacks to help feed the hungry among ourselves. All supplies such as plates and utensils will be provided already. Social Events will be announced soon! When: Saturday, November 15th, 2008 - 12noon to 5pm If food truck arrives on the scene it will likely be from 3pm to 5pm. So please don't be late! Re: Nov. 15, 2008 - Food Drive/Picnic @ park (w/ 4 communities) Ok good news! I just heard back from the Resource Development Manager at St. Mary's and she is going to get me in touch with their food drive coordinator. This means I should be able to work out getting a truck to pickup the donations.

Re: Nov. 15, 2008 - Food Drive/Picnic @ park (w/ 4 communities) SunaCosu will be teaming up with Cosplay Zone Productions to present Iron Skit - think iron cosplay but with skits! Teams will create and perform a skit with some given criteria, and we have some fun things for you to act out. ^_^
As for potluck foods, I'm really not sure what to bring. It has to be A) made of inexpensive ingredients and B) ok if it doesn't stay warm. So that makes it kind of hard. >.< I'm thinking of cutting up some fresh fruit even though it doesn't really fit with A. Don't forget to bring cans everyone! Check your local sale ads and stock up. Anywho, we will have to come up some other way of getting the donations to the bank.
****UPDATE**** St. Mary's just called me, and they are bringing 4 of their big food drive boxes to me at work on Friday, so I will probably drop them off with NyuNyu on Friday after work...or something. ****UPDATE**** I now have the boxes!
